- Unlocking ability and opening opportunities to empower children with disabilities
What we do
At Winning Pathways, we believe every child deserves the chance to discover their strengths, chase their dreams, and build a future filled with opportunity. Through our scholarships and grants, we support young people at every stage of their journey — from the early days of discovering adaptive sports to the transition into higher education.
Why we do it
Winning Pathways was founded by Todd and Mechelle Hedtke, inspired by their family’s journey and belief that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. They saw firsthand the challenges and untapped potential of children with disabilities and knew that early support could change the trajectory of a child’s life.
How we do it
We bring communities together through inspiring events that showcase ability while raising awareness for inclusion. These celebrations spark conversations and build momentum, but they are just the beginning. To truly expand our impact, we rely on the generosity of individual donors, sponsorships, and grants to finance our efforts.
Across all communities...
Winning Pathways works to reach kids who are too often overlooked — ones with big dreams, but with limited access and awareness of the possibilities that exist for them as individuals with disabilities. Even if they are aware, they often simply can't afford the proper education or access to adaptive sports.
Enter Winning Pathways - we help children with disabilities discover their potential through education and competitive adaptive sports — giving them confidence, community, and a chance to shine. Together, we can open doors for kids who deserve the same opportunities as everyone else to unlock that potential.
