Mechelle is a devoted advocate for individuals with disabilities. She is dedicated to raising awareness that children with different abilities are highly capable of being successful in their endeavors. As a parent of a child with a disability, Mechelle has witnessed great resiliency and has developed a passion to ensure others have the same opportunities her son has been afforded. She has experience across many professional roles from real estate to board leadership.
My Why
Life gives you many ups and downs, the evening of February 23, 2019 was definitely one of those down moments. My son Mac was involved in a horrific ski accident and was fighting for his life in a Denver hospital. The amazing efforts of doctors, but most of all himself saved his life and brain. He did leave as an above-the-knee amputee but has overcome so much and is an inspiration to many. Watch the video to hear more and meet some of my other heros!
