Aidan Falcon SMSU
"Born with Spina Bifida, Aidan has faced challenges from the very beginning, but he has never let them define him. Instead, they have shaped his strength, determination, and positive outlook on life.In middle school, Aidan discovered a passion for wheelchair basketball. Two years ago, he joined a traveling team, where he found not only a love for the sport but also a strong sense of community among peers who understand both the challenges and the joy that come with it."

Kennady Stone Iowa State University
"Working as a swim instructor for children with disabilities has been one of the most meaningful parts of my life! I’ve seen firsthand how patience, encouragement, and support can help someone gain confidence and believe in themselves. I am planning on studying psychology and hope to become a therapist where I can continue to make a positive difference Receiving a scholarship from the Winning Pathways Foundation is incredibly special to me because it reflects the impact of something I truly love doing."
Benjamin Weekly St. John's University
Since his sophomore year, Ben has been the kind of student every program hopes for—but rarely finds. He brings flexibility, positivity, and teamwork into every space he enters. But more than that, he brings people with him. He makes sure no one is left out, no one is overlooked, and no one feels like they don’t belong.Ben doesn’t just support others—he sees them. Whether it’s encouraging a classmate in PE or helping a student find their voice on stage—even feeding lines through a hearing aid so they could perform—Ben shows us what it means to lead with heart.
